I'll be post-processing the photos I took today as soon as I can, and will post a slideshow link once I have them completed (probably tomorrow).

Thanks to everyone who came down to help out, to the Pro's who contributed their time, expertise and resources to take the teens out, to the Pro's who came but ended up without a teen partner, and mostly to Cooch for all his hard work getting this event together! Cooch worked tirelessly to make this the huge success it was, and I'm honored to have been able to be a part of it.

Thanks to my pro Kevin Ryan for showing me a great time! I had a ball. I learned some stuff and he learned some stuff too. Lost a couple fish, but still managed to get third! Thanks all that helped put this on.

fantastic event Cooch!!! It was my first time for the for the Pro-teen and will not be my last. I had Travis Ortman in my boat and we had a BLAST. We caught a ton of fish and he even got his first top water "spook" fish.
I was very impressed about all the great raffle prizes, and the BBQ was great food.

Thanks for a great event,
:D

Thank you Cooch and all involved,
I have put on large tournaments and know what is involved behind the scenes in making an event such as this a success, and deeply do appreciate all of your dedication. My step son Jared did not sleep a wink the night before, and has been looking forward to fishing this event all year. This event impacts so many people both kids and adults hopefully all stay hooked :D . I too had a great time while fishing with 16 year old Brett Allen of Castroville who camped in a tent with a friend so he could be here. It really gives these kids something to look forward to.
Thanks again,
Mike Moreno

I really appreciate all the behind the scenes guys that make this event come together and appear so effortlessly. First of all to Cooch to organizing it, the parents for being involved with their teens and supporting them, and the Pro's who really focus on the teens having a great day.

I look forward to this event all year long, having to come in early was a bummer for me, but my teen Josh was cool and understanding.

Its also great to catch up with the Nutcases and say hey, great to see you guys again.

Thank you,

Jonathan

Great Job to Andy and all the volunteers (Even Delta Dan for running the battery down on my truck)

I fished with Stephan Mohajer and we had a great time. We caught them pretty good but not quite good enough to win. That was an awesome bag that Patrick and Tom weighed.

What impresses me more than anything is the talent that so many of these teens have. Many of them show up with their own tackle, cast just as good as I do and have a full understanding of what we are going to do and why. That is awesome!

As always it went great and you can't have a bad tournament out of Chuck Russo's place!

here here! Chuck really does go out of his way! KB you nearly
pulled it off. Congratulations to Tom and Patrick as well.

Still, I would have loved to hear that interview had you indeed pulled it off!

BrothA Brown.... Just 'cause I can get your truck and trailor ~~ after launching you in your sled with your Teen ... up to 138 mph up and back down Gateway Blvd in 1 minuet and 86 seconds ........ While playing that SICK 6-spd auto tranny !! - (before the rev limiter kicks in Image )

.... Does not mean that Toyota made that truck COMPLETELY "Stupid Proof" when it came to parking ~ and making sure that your lights were off.
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

I fished with a young man named Derrick Hicks and he knew what he was doing. The day before the tournament we had our meeting and I said we would be starting out throwing frogs. We when over the different rigs we will be using and where we will be going. He used left handle reels so I sent him up with my second frog rod and few other rods. Then he said what time do we meet and then he said how about 4:00 am. I said now hold on that is a bit early how about 5:15 am and it sounding like I said we were not going fishing.

The next day he was ready and we made our run where I knew of some good mats. As I was pulling up to our spot I notice some boil-ups out side of the mats and I change plans about the frogs. I tell him to grab the spinner bait and he is right there – we both cast out spinner bait and bam we both hook up on our first casts. We both howler “Netâ€
