M&M campgrounds @ Clear lake

Post by Dom »

My family and I are planning on spending a week on Clear Lakein a couple of weeks and we stayed at M&M campgrounds about 3 years ago it is the long point before you go into the Keys on the south end of the lake , they had bathrooms and electric so it worked out great. But I just called and the number rings to a residence. Did they close down and if so what camp grounds do yall reccomend? Thanks Dom

I camped there for the first time last year. It seems to be run pretty loosely. Making contact with the host for reservations and even to check in and pay was hit and miss. I guess you have to catch them at the right time when they are home (they run it out of their house). Here is the link containing the contact info I used.

I just stayed at Edgewater last week. They have a swimming pool too, so its great for the family. Dock with power so I never pulled the boat out. The sites are kinda small, and its a bit pricey, but its nice. Its right next to Ferndale Resort in Soda Bay so its close to alot of good fishing.
Fishing should be fun.
