livewells front and rear? My boat already weighs as much as a tank.. if I had more storage, I would sink!

Front live well.Wouldn't those fish get pounded?I remember boats had front live wells,They put them in the back because the fish got pounded.i do like the non boater rod locker. I remember the old boats had those long lockers too.

I think the tackle storage is really inovative with the popup slide out trays. Pretty slick

I dont know how much the non-boater rod locker would be used, but it would be nice when toughing through rough water.

Way to go BCB

Best idea on that thing is the little side compartment under the passenger rod locker for stowing your throwable, very easy access and out of the way.

holy crap what a battleship.................. room for spare trolling motor behind seats. hidden throw cushion, centered easy battery access, and oh the storage.
looking at the picks, i think thats just storage in the front past the pop up tray compartments. wonder about the bitch/ passenger console

Those are not livewells in the front, the one on the left is dry storage and the one on the left is your ice chest with a tray for your sandwiches :) :) . I like alot about the boat, the left and right mirrors are a great idea, for the most part it looks like a great boat minus that console :? :? All that said it will probably be a hit, wonder how much :?:

Look at picture 25. Those look like live wells to me. I could be wrong, and chances are, I am.

And to those that dont like the console...whats wrong with it and what dont you like about it?

BassCat has said that this boat will retail for as much as $80,000 with all the bells and whistles out here on the left coast. To get an idea of how big it is, the red boat next to it is a Puma/Cougar class (not sure which by the picture) 20'6" boat and the Jaguar makes it look like an 18 footer. You'll need walkie talkies to communicate with your backseater.
BassCat says it has a right side console and windshields for the boat but neither were finished before the unvailing.
This boat is definately not for everyone (you better have a huge garage and deep pockets) and it looks like they will only produce a limited amount of them for now. I don't think at the price it will go for there will be a lot of dealers having one sitting in the lot collecting dust. But man, that boat will rival all those cruisers out there on the delta for lower speed wakes and you'll probably have to take up two parking spots at the ramp, har!
Wonder what a tinted windshield will do for the look of that console?
Too much for me to handle....I'll just stick with my PIV for now....but, stranger things have happened......

Guys,

Thank You for the comments. We are extremely pleased with the way this one came together. Here is a video by John Crews of the rig. It is vague, though does show the tackle storage better.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4UIaHonUGE

More information and answers are on our Owners Board at BassCat.com also.

The livewells are in the rear and are slightly larger than the Cougar FTD and the Puma FTD. The boxes at the step to the deck are not livewells. One is a large cooler, and the other is a helmet box, for two (2) full face helmets.

The boat really turned out well. Performance is going to be from mid 60's up to lower 70's depending on the weight load. The ones we have built so far with moderate loads are in the 70-72 ranges with gear, fuel and 2 people.

The features are very nice and lots of goods, plus the Sony stereo is standard, with the seat speakers in the headrests. There are three (3) rod boxes from 9' down to 7 1/2' and the tackle storage for Plano style boxes is adjustable. The boat can hold up to 36 boxes depending on size and configuration in the rear two front deck compartments. The rear long box across the deck is for a spare trolling motor. The decks are massive. And the Cockpit is the same seating size as a Puma or Cougar FTD.

There is a Jaguar for Mossdale Boats in production now and it will soon be headed west. We only recently started production on Jaguar models. Tim will probably be running this one and you need to get by and see it if you are interested in a big boat. This is a really nice ride.

We will be glad to answer any questions on our Owners Board or occasionally on the Bass Boat Central Bass Cat board. Not that we won't here, though most of our staff obviously doesn't visit here frequently.

Thanks again for your comments.
