Folsom, what's the word?
What's going on out there, I'm thinking of running it this weekend and considering the last and only time I fished it was a rainy and cold January day about 4 years ago, some input would be appreciated.

The word is the fishing is tuff, and the plug has been pulled. I would expect the 5mph. speed limit just in time for labor day weekend.

Its tuff, well at least the last time I was out there. Look for fish on the hazard markers (rock piles) 1/8 darter heads with your favorite robo colors, 3/8 football heads with hula grubs, c-rig lizards. Try some top water in the morning. Theres always some fish to be caught on the damn. GL

Let's hope that El Nino kicks in early and the 5mph gets lifted faster than you can say, "NET"!fishinfool74 wrote:The word is the fishing is tuff, and the plug has been pulled. I would expect the 5mph. speed limit just in time for labor day weekend.
G,Those techniques and locations never produce. Why are you giving out misinformation

Re: Folsom, what's the word?
From what I'm told when the guys are leaving it is tuff right now, there maybe a fish in 4 hrs and there not even 12 inches. There drawing the colder water from the bottom of the lake. With a foot a day the fish dont know what the heck is going on. But one thing I did see in the Marina basin and around the docks was a ton of blue gill fry which haven't been this good in years, also a lot of small bass. The 5 mile per hour wont go into effect till the lake reaches 400 ft in elevation. The boats in the marina have to be out by the 25th of Aug. that is when the lake will reach 412
