I was given one of the subject lures as a gift but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
Has anyone used one of these and if so, can you offer any tips on best line, rod action and retrieve to use with it?
Thanks for your help!

Re: Sebile Magic Swimmer
I have caught fish on them. I would recommend fluorocarbon line as it is a sinking lure and fluorocarbon sinks as well. the size of the lure would help determine the rod, match the lure weight to the rod weight rating.
I would probably use a medium power rod although a med heavy would work. Consider hook size and the fish size you are targeting as a small hook could pull out of a good size fish. in this case you may want to lean to a softer tipped rod. For me a retrieve that is changed up seems to work better.

offduty-
thanks for the input. the lure is approx. 5" in length and a rainbow trout pattern so I'm going to try it out on some of the lakes I fish for bass around here where they stock 'bows. Somebody told me if you pause and lower your rod tip, the bait turns 180 degrees, but I haven't heard that anywhere else.
I went to their website and there's a short video where it seems like they're just trolling it along at a steady speed and it looks like it's swimming along like a tight wobble crankbait.
I've got a loomis smallie crankbait 7' rod which has a fairly soft (medium) action. Do you think this will work or would you use something slightly more stout?

Re: Sebile Magic Swimmer
Sure give it a try, it sounds good to me. The Sebile magic swimmer is a cool lure and I believe you can count it down. The one I have is only about 3 " long. You don't have to wait till they stock but it might help.
