Well like other post there is some good Wine Tasting and tours. It is also close enough to Santa Rosa to do a day trip and shop or head to Napa for some serious Wine Tasting or even Calistoga for some mud baths and a day at the spa.

Some guy is right. Unless you like to fish, the place is horrible. All of the so called fun things do mentioned here aren't even in that area. Napa??? How far is that? Let them go somewhere else that is safe, clean, and fun for them and go up there on your own and fish. It's just not a nice place, period.

I love how everybody hates on the Clear Lake area. My wife and I moved from Santa Rosa and Novato. We love Lake County and would not move anywhere else. I agree there is some bad areas but there are some great areas as well. As other guys were saying you can go wine tasting in Lake County. The first one that comes to mind is out of Middletown (Langtry Farms). It is a beautiful setting with its own lake. You can catch a movie in Lakeport and do some shopping in the small boutiques in down town. You can also have a lunch at TNT's in Lakeport and eat on an outdoor deck overlooking the lake. Lakeport also has a drive in movie theater (not sure if it is open this time of year). You can also call the Lakeport chamber of commerace or the Lake county visitors center, they can give you great ideas. I believe they also have maps of the county for you as well. Have them come up and check Konocti for a show there might be a good one that weekend. Anyways, good luck with your fishing.

Stay at the Koncti Indian Casino and give each your wives $300 to $500 a day gambling cash. You can than stay out fishing as long as you like , even miss dinner if the bite is that hot with out any complaints. Hope your catch is gigantic and your both wealthy!

Well if they like to do meth, they will be in paradise!!! j/k..

I think Ed has a good idea... Have them check out the mud baths in Calistoga. They are very popular.

You can paly in the Casino, shop the small shops, drive on hwy 20 and see the Elk or Buffalo ranch, drive to Ukiah and shop and look around, or not to long of a drive to see the Redwoods. Play Golf, Bowl. Many things to do in and around Lake county when I lived there.
