Special Thanks and Congrats to WRL TOC WINNERS
First of all I want to give a Special Thankyou to Jimmy Ghiorso of Clearlake Bait & Tackle who provided excellent customer service not only to myself, but many others that were on the water at CL this weekend for the WRL TOC. Mother nature decided to throw us a added curve with high winds causing many boaters having trolling motor issues, me being one. We had to come off 2hrs early before our official weigh in time. We went right into the store and Jimmy came out to access situation. Jimmy then offered us a trolling motor that he had at his house if we felt that we couldn't fix our issue in time for the 2nd day blast off. I couldn't believe it , I had only met him 2 days prior to the tourn. He didn't have to do that and could have said sorry guys can't help ya and went on his merry way, but instead then assisted others that had similar issues. With things being tight and everyone just looking out for themselves it was mind settling to know that far away from home there are people like Jimmy to lend a helping hand when needed. His store in CL is awesome but its not what he has on his shelf as much as it is the person behind the counter that cares about the sport he loves and the people who shares the same interest. Thanks again Jimmy. Second of all Hats off to 100% Bass Bob Kornhauser and Randy Pringle in running a smooth TOC this weekend despite mother nature which neither had anything to do with. Bob pasted the torch Randy for some much needed rest and all I can say is Bob THANKYOU to you and your wife for all your years of hard work and you couldn't have picked a more dedicated person to past the torch to than Randy and Sheri Pringle. Good Luck to both in their new futures. Thankyou to all the sponsors that made WRL 100% Bass a pleasant year of fishing and I hope they continue supporting the working fisherman in these tough times. Lastly with out stealing Randy's thunder myself and Jason would like to give a well deserved CONGRATS to Mike Sanders & Matt Lindsey for working as a Team to win the 2009 TOC and all the top teams that competed this weekend. Awesome guys, enough said I'm sure Randy will post the rest later. Thankyou you all again for making this a enjoyable TOC weekend.

Jimmy was a class act. He hooked up my 3 year old son with a t-shirt with his stores logo on it that made his day, he would not take it off that night and wound up sleeping in it, and would not let me pay for the package of gummy worms for the kid as well while we were at the meeting Friday night. That package saved dads butt since it kept a 3 year old kid occupied for most of the meeting. He was just a great guy that I saw help out a lot of guys with boat and tackle issues that he made no money on. Awesome shop, even better service, and great staff.
As usual Randy, Sheri, and Bob put on an awesome tourney that was a blast to fish. We are going to miss you Bob, and thanks for creating one of the best circuts on the west coast for us weekend warriors. Good luck and you will be in our family's prayers.

I also wanted to thank Jimmy who went out of his way to ensure that a team with a broken trolling moter (unfortunetly mine) had all the contacts available to get it repaired and went out of his way to provide us a push bar for the trolling moter just in case we couldn't get it repaired..
I also want to thank Randy (who managed to get the motor working again) Sheri (happy birthday by the way) and Korny for putting on a great event.
I'm sorry to see Bob leaving, but I am looking forward to working with Randy next yeat to see how the WRL can continue to grow.

Any old seven pounder will make my day better...
