Spiderwire VS. Power Pro
Spiderwire VS. Power Pro
Which braid is better for the Delta, I use Power Pro alot, but I keep hearing that Spiderwire is just as good. What is your opinion????
Re: Spiderwire VS. Power Pro
I've only this year started to use braid consistently, and solely on the performance of power pro.....fire line bites.

From my experience PowerPro is worth the extra money. It seems to hold up longer than Spiderwire.
If I call in sick, I am probably on the Delta.

Re: Spiderwire VS. Power Pro
I used to use Power Pro a lot... I liked it for the most part but it has a few minor annoyances...... tried Spiderwire Stealth and thought it was about equal in quality and fishability... but Powerpro was cheaper and seemed to last a little longer througout the year,, so I stuck with it... you'd be fine with either
a few years ago I tried Suffix Braid and have never looked back... it's just plain better,,, maintains its roundness so you don't get flat spots,, less fraying at knots,, maintains its original color longer (none last forever),, no spots of extra coating build up,, and the coating permeates the weave so you don't get coating build up on your reels ...seems to cast a little smoother as a result too

Power Pro for sure....
Re: Spiderwire VS. Power Pro
Just as good... I use both, and have no problems with either.
