Im "all in" paid in full. I know Guy is in as well..
And Barry is going as a VTO because he doesnt have a boat. (but he'd much rather be fishing it)

Ron
can you tell us how many spots are left for both fishing and vto's
thinking about doing the vto thing but not sure if I went to sit on the back of someones boat for 8hrs and watch them fish

Word of advice Kirk....If your not sure now, then you shouldnt do the VTO thing. The last thing the Angler needs to do is worry about his VTO getting bored or inpatient..
It could be a long day for a VTO if there is no excitment or if its cold outside. Its not about the VTO's in this event, its about the Anglers and them staying focused on the task at hand..

Just pay the dough and fish the thing and join in on the fun...

Pete 1st off my post was a nice way to bump this up for Ron C and see if we could see the #'s on both sides if you really knew me you would know that
TEAMDEADMONEY wrote:Word of advice Kirk....If your not sure now, then you shouldnt do the VTO thing. The last thing the Angler needs to do is worry about his VTO getting bored or inpatient..
2nd If the Angler is worried about his VTO getting bored then maybe the Angler does not NEED TO BE THERE EITHER, the Angler is there to fish and thats it
It could be a long day for a VTO if there is no excitment or if its cold outside.

If you did know me, you would know THERE is No Way I would go as a VTO because it would be along day for me sitting on the back of someones boat, I KNOW I DON'T Have the Patience's and WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO SOMEONE
Its not about the VTO's in this event
Did I Ever say it was  I guess since your God you know what I'm thinking
its about the Anglers and them staying focused on the task at hand..
Thanks for Clearing this up for me, I never would of thunk of this myself.
Just pay the dough and fish the thing and join in on the fun...

Like I said Pete if you did know me you would know, the only way I would show up for this would be to fish it. I'm not going to be sitting on a boat on the water and not be fishing................. Just not my cup of tea, I guess I'm just to hard headed to try it/that

anyways here is a bump again for this post

PS. what I can do since I'll be out there prefishing for NBW that is on that sunday mar 21st is make sure I buzz the whole lake a few times though out the day at around 50 mph and 30' off the shore line and the front of all the boats  :P

innnn... ouuuttt...innnn....ouuuttt.. Relax bro... For some reason you took my post wrong...no reason to get your panties in a wad..

You clearly stated...

"thinking about doing the vto thing but not sure if I went to sit on the back of someones boat for 8hrs and watch them fish"

Did you not????

I only said what I did because you made it quite clear that you were thinking about doing it as a VTO but werent sure if you wanted to just sit there for 8 hours. If you just wanted to give the thread a "nice bump up" then you could have written "bump" instead of saying that you are thinking about doing it as a VTO if you really werent.... :?
Write what you mean, mean what you say..

No I dont really know you, I simply responded to what is written. Simple as that..

Also, you said..

"2nd If the Angler is worried about his VTO getting bored then maybe the Angler does not NEED TO BE THERE EITHER, the Angler is there to fish and thats it"

I didnt say that an angler would be worried about his VTO getting bored, BUT, if a VTO did get bored or inpatient it could get old real quick for any Angler listening to the VTO complain. The anglers simply dont need that.
Im not saying that if you did it as a VTO that youd complain... Im just saying any VTO that doesnt know if he can handle being on the boat all day and not fishing should maybe not volunteer.

As far as your comment..

"I guess since your God you know what I'm thinking"...

Im glad you said one thing I could agree with..

Now get out there and fish that thing and catch the 10+ lber youve been saying will win it and I'll give you the dollar that we bet that it wont be over 10lbs.

Yes I Did
I only said what I did because you made it quite clear that you were thinking about doing it as a VTO but werent sure if you wanted to just sit there for 8 hours. Write what you mean, mean what you say..
When I did write it I WAS Thinking about doing it as a VTO for about 3 mins then I got thinking what are you thinking. but deieced not to pull the post and let it ride.
I didnt say that an angler would be worried about his VTO getting bored, BUT, if a VTO did get bored or inpatient it could get old real quick for any Angler listening to the VTO complain. The anglers simply dont need that.
I would HOPE that a VTO would not say a word/complain about anything because I agree the Angler doesn't need to hear anything but good things if anything is being said from the VTO in my eyes
Im just saying any VTO that doesnt know if he can handle being on the boat all day and not fishing should maybe not volunteer.
I Agree 100% with this statement
As far as your comment..

"I guess since your God you know what I'm thinking"...
Im glad you said one thing I could agree with..
LOL I guess you added this :P j/k
Now get out there and fish that thing and catch the 10+ lber youve been saying will win it and I'll give you the dollar that we bet that it wont be over 10lbs.

Pete to tell you the truth I have not even thunk about this trny till this morning/today. Its not something I would normaly fish (i'm not a 1 fish type of guy, I like #'s) but I'm going to think about it for the next day because I'm going to be there anyways.

from fishing HBC 1 at Casitas...make sure as a VTO you are ready to endure ANYTHING! HBC 1 has 30-45mph winds, terrential downpouring rain and 3-5ft chops! it was one helluva day! My VTO was soaked all day long and didn't bring rain gear...he never complained even though I KNOW he was miserable!

I lot of VTO's were miserable but its what you do in that tournament. When I got my fish in HBC 1 the VTO hardly moved to even watch me bring her in.

Guy and Pete,

You boys get out there and catch the bigguns! Do Team Dead Money proud! I got Casitas the next day on my Bday otherwise i might have fished HBC 6 myself!

Eric
