Berryessa water level: http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/quer ... er&d=today

FYI, this is one of the few lakes where the level is not posted real-time. Seems like they update this page manually once a week or so.

If you want to see other lake water levels and weather all from a single page, try http://www.theschoolofbass.com and click on the Lakes & Weather button at the top of each page.

Hope that helps.

Heading to Berry Ash??? We're thinking about taking the motorhome out next weekend or so, and might be heading that way ourselves. Let me know if you want to coordinate a weekend at the lake?

I was at Berryessa yesterday. Water in the entire lake was stained to very stained depending on where you were. Lots of water has flowed into that lake during the last storm: level is up almost 6 feet.

Fished Berryessa today (Thursday). Markley is using their primary ramp. They said the lake was up 7 feet. I found the narrows to be lightly stained (clearing as you move closer to the dam), the main body stained and Putah was flat out muddy starting about 150 yards inside the bridge.

Any debris floating off the shorelines or in the creeks? Probably going on Monday, early. It'll be interesting to see how they've adjusted to the water level. Last time out (before the storms) they were on the bottom at 30 to 40 ft. (or deeper). Any thoughts?

Ill be there tomorrow and I was there last saturday, there was debris in the lake and it was stained to muddy. I suspect this week will be a bit less on the stained to muddy, and debris will be further into the lake.

Ill report back tomorrow night.
Fishing should be fun.

Yes on the Debris but not too bad. Couple of large logs were floating in the narrows on Saturday but they had found the shore again on Thursday. It goes without saying but use caution, wear the vests and use the kill switch.

There is debris throughout the lake, but it is random. The water has cleared a tad I assume it will continue throughout the upcoming week. The bite was decent for us, but no kicker fish. We had 11.5 lbs for 5.

Be careful, there are big chunks of wood every now and then. The creek areas have alot more of it. There is also some odds and ends floating in the lake, but those are easier to see.
Fishing should be fun.

+1
I was able to see all of it today. If you just pay attention while at the wheel and don't sight see, you should be fine. There were 2 tree's and many logs all throughout the lake, none of which you can't see. I was able to see a couple from about a half mile away

Thanks guys. Pretty much what I figured but its always good to get a heads up. It'll be interesting to see where the new shoreline is and how the fish will be relating to it. Like I said, going early tomorrow, hope the fog isn't too bad and the rain doesn't get too heavy. Speaking of the rain. All these storms we've been having reminded me of one of my favorite Caddyshack clips. Enjoy.
