iPhone maps
What do you guys use or think is the best application for an iphone 3gs, hotmaps, nav.lakes, inavx and is there a waterproof cover that you can recommend. I fish out west (ca,wa,or) from streams, lakes to the ocean, any help would be great.

Re: iPhone maps
i have the navionics lakes west and usa west(salt water) and the apps are cool but remember At&t sucks. most of the time i have no bars. the features are cool if you have reception. good luck and if you have more Q's pm me
Re: iPhone maps
I have the Navionics Lakes West. I also have the black "Otter Box" cover which is water proof unless you submerge it. The only thing open is the speaker ports. It is an awesome cover. Not cheap ($50 at A.T.&T.).Other cool apps that I have and use a lot are "The Weather Channel Max", "Windfinder", "TideGraph", "Moon Phase" and "Google Earth". It's nice to look at the winds at Clear Lake before you make the drive over from the valley.
