Way to go Chad, Kenny , and Gary Lake Amistad

Post by Keith Bryan »

How about a big congrats to Chad Martin 13th in the Pro division BASS Central open Lake Amistad.

Gary Haraguchi 8th and Kenny Schmitt 39th in the Co-Angler division BASS Central Open Amistad.

And oh yeah, there was this other guy there that didn’t cash and all he did was catch big ones in practice and dump a couple big one’s in the tourney.

We all had a blast and these three guys did really well. Talk about getting outside your comfort zone, now that’s growing. I’m very proud of them.

By the way, if anyone is wondering whether the new Ranger Z521 is an awesome boat, it is. In fact, its truly amazing in rough water and handles sweet in calm water. Wow what a great ride, sorry Chad.

Gary, you are in trouble for the peanut M & M’s.

Way to go guys.

If you get the chance to go as many of you have, go it's a great lake.

Badass?

Oh god no. He's just got good sponsorship...

As for the 521 Mr. Keith....Good luck getting that 12 ton sled off of the stumps in pool 4 in June! I hear the Corps has a crane on a barge and a tug on standby to get you out of the jungle and sullivants...

On a different note Keith- I good friend of mine called me today about the swimjig rod..High end purchaser that swims a jig a lot who said it was "the best swimjig rod ever". Good job on the rod. That's about the only technique we arkies do more than you westerners-

Chad a badass...

I'm still lovin that one.

Tommy taught him all he ever knew anyway!

12 ton Sled, my rear-end that’s as smooth as butter baby and rides light and fishes in skinny water well. Man you keep letting me plug Ranger, thanks. Let me remind you —I had to slow down in Mexico to wait up for that big 22ft long Pussycat and the only bad mo fo I saw riding in it was Gary Haraguchi. The dude driving that thing drove us right into a rainstorm at daylight, shoot he had Gary diving into the hide a bed rod locker in that thing. Let me ask you---with that big wide aircraft carrier he’s driving, what are they going to do in order to get him into the backwaters, dredge a lane or two, because no crane is picking that that tub up? That thing would have to wait for a high tide just to get into SF Bay.

Quick question for you. How many fish can you weigh in on weeknight night tourneys on the Ark River? I got some inside info on that one, ouch!!!

All fooling aside. Our rod design team along with Jared Lintner's input did a great job on that rod, as they did on the other 3 models. Keep paying attention, there’s more coming and pass on my appreciation to your friend for getting one. I’m glad he likes it.

Tommy did teach him everything. He’s coming to the river with us before official practice. I’m getting him in my boat. I need all the help I can get. With the way Chad’s or (Badass) brrrrrhuaaaaaa, is fishing right now he doesn’t need much help. He’s doing very well. He’ll get the big head after reading this or it could start a brawl.

Jason----I didn’t know those 2 words Give Up even existed in the English language, where did you find those? (Appreciate you)

Take it easy.

I aint scared to zero baby!

Gotta gamble to win a 3 hour tourney by yourself when every other boat has 2 anglers in it!
