CLEAR LAKE Ispections--any info

Post by Zak Elrite »

Headed up to clear lake with a club tourney and wanted to know what the inspection process in like now. I understand it's $10 a month but don't know about the process. I'm clean and dry but driving up there might get some water loosened up from somewhere. I've got the sticker but I believe that's no good now from I've heard.

leave the plug out and keep boat and livewells as dry as you can .stickers are now monthly . most of the tackle shops can take care of it for you.

....in other words, dont worry about it. There is no inspection, just pay your $10 bucks, hope your bracelets dont blow off, and you are good to go. Think of it more in terms of a launch fee, because it sure as heck isnt an inspection.

WTF? WHEN DID THIS GO INTO EFFECT? WHY IS IT EVERY TIME WE TURN AROUND, THE COST OF ANY GIVEN ITEM OR SERVICE GOES UP WITHIN A BLINK OF AN EYE?

What's next... no more "YEARLY" fishing licenses?? :x

hey zak long time no see. you still got your champion ?? inspections are still a farce. most of the time they don't even know if you have a boat . sign a paper pay off and your good.. hey now with lake full frazier should be super ?? good luck . now that club actually meets in gilroy its just too big of a hassle .to get to the meetings . bob g
