Friends of Castaic Lake Night event is this Friday...at Cast

This year National Bass West was able to get the bid for the Friends of Castaic Lake night events. The first event is this coming Friday, May 21, 2010. You CAN qualify for our 2010 Havasu Classic through these events. You will need to fish all 4 events and finish in the top 5 OR use these events for the travelers region.

We will meet at the lake for sign-ups starting at 4:30 p.m. The Castaic Lake Bass Club will be doing a barbecue. National Bass West will offer danish, coffee and juice during the weigh-in. We will start the event as soon as the lifeguards allow us to. The first flight will be coming in at 2 a.m. We will draw for the first boat out at the meeting prior to launch. Please make sure that you have a glow stick with you OR you can buy them from us
for 2 for $4.

The basic entry and mandatory fees total $170. We will give the Friends of Castaic $45 fromn each boat. There will be $130 in options available that will be paid back 100% to you anglers.

If the weather reports hold up nobody will be fishing at castaic till maybe sunday if were lucky!
