Thank you everybody!!!!!

That may have been the single most frustrating tournament ever for me because Ive been consistantly getting 23-25 lbs for the last 3 weeks but because the wind was blowing mach 7 yesterday I couldnt even fish any of my best water. But it was the same for everyone Im sure.. But during the tournament while I had at least 3 meltdowns mentally it was tough. i almost snapped my rod in 1/2 at least twice because i was getting so frustrated... But somehow i pulled it togther and we got lucky with the win.
Ive been fishing alot off shore stuff and with the wind and waves I couldnt hold to fish any of it so I had to go to a backup plan that I found last week.
I found 2 groups of bait shallow with fish on it earlier last week so when i finally tore myself away from my best stuff I went to visit those two areas.
But just to be safe I fished a couple wind protected areas (those that fished yesterday know that there werent many "wind protected" areas) before I went to my back up plan to get a quick limit.
Our first limit weighed a whole 10 lbs..
Then we caught another 5 fish making 5 culls and had a HUGE jump in total weight to 11 1/4 lbs..  .the next QUICK 5 culls brought our weight to a mind blowing 11 3/4 lbs    All we were catching were the small males...and I knew it.
It sucked to know that I could go catch bigger fish if the wind would let me but it didnt so it was off to plan B because those small bass werent gonna win anything...
So we went to the first area I found bait.... NO LOVE!!!
Then we went to the other area that had bait on it..
It was a 15 yard area on the East Dam that I found a few days ago.. We pull up and the waves and wind are hammering the dam but I said "screw it we have to try". I fire out the scrounger and I got hammered....Carissa netted it and she said "8lber" I said "no, more like 6 lbs"...very long and skinny post spawner with a giant head... into the well it went.
So I fire out again..."Net" , I told Carissa. this one takes me DEEP...I told her this may be the 8 lber she wanted. She finally nets it..., Not an 8 lber but another really good one.... As it turned out those 2 bass weighed almost 5 1/2 each but the 1st one was a post spawner and the 2nd one was either a prespawner or its been feeding for a while because it was fat.
We fish down the bank and start getting only small ones again so I turned around and go back to that small area...I see bait get busted on so I throw the vixen and it bounced off the rocks (Damn wind  ) as soon as I moved it I got busted on and Carissa netted a solid 3 1/2 lber..... then it went dead again for a little while with only a few small ones eating the scroungers....
So I turned back and went to that area. Carissa makes one cast with the scrounger and shes on....A good one jumps out of the water and I say...."Thats the one we need"....after a couple good runs on the 6 lb line...I netted it and it weighed 4 lbs 5 oz...
While she was fighting that fish it tried to head to shallow water so I went after it with the troller unforetunately I motored right thru the sweet spot on that area so we didnt get any bites after that....luckily it was enough to win it.

It was a tuff season for us...at least 3 times during the year we zigged when we should have zagged or we lost a fish that would have won it for us so getting this win was nice...and a relief! Great way to end the season...

Congrats to Guy and Jason for their Angler of the Year title...you guys kicked our collective AS.Ses this year.... This was definetly your season... You earned it...Good Job!!
And congrats to Mike and Mike for a solid midseason charge... I was hoping Me and Carissa would get 2nd so Team Dead Money would sweep the 1st 2 spots but we came up just short finishing in 3rd for the season....which isnt bad considering the season we had..

Thanks again everyone!!!
