motor guide noise

i bought a new motor guide 109 it wines at all higher speeds,
tried new 2 blade prop. still wines......any ideas on how to fix the noisy props?

The only way to fix it is to get a MinnKota :D

Take it apart, turn the motor 180, it will work but the whine might now be in the lower speeds...

I have a new 82 and it has the same issue , I believe its not broken in yet.

And now, for the correct answer:

It's not the props. Unfortunately, this is the ONLY flaw with Motorguides. When I bought mine brand new, it had absolutely NO whine. Over the years, it developed the whine. After speaking to a Motorguide Rep, the "whine" develops over time and heavy usage at the top-end.

As yours is "New", it is under a 2-year warranty. You should call Motorguide and explain the situation. They should send you a replacement at no cost.
