non boater tournaments

Post by senkoskipper »

Are there any bass tournaments in northern cali/bay area that doesn't require you to have a boat and you can fish the tourney with a pro? I tried looking at a some of the tournaments and I couldn't find any non boater option.

You can fish the BASS federation as a non boater and it is NOT a shared weight format. They are very fun and very low cost.

call the tournament director for the region you want to fish. I am sure they can hook you up.

It sounds like you might be starting out in tournaments so a good place to start would be to join a bass club. You can find one in your area and they will generally be a very good place to start fishing tournaments as a non-boater. You may also find a good boating partner to join and fish other circuits in Cal. Good luck and check it out!
