Even college is about money. One and done. How many college players go pro after one year/
And the successful coaches make millions, while most schools are struggling to make ends meet.
Since the college game is the minor league for the NBA, I think the NBA ought to have to kick some money back to the colleges.
Same with the NFL.
As it is now, since most college players get full ride scholarships, and most colleges get tax money, we wind up subsidizing those leagues by training their "minor league" players on our dime.
As least MLB has farm teams that they pay for. But they also draft college players, and I think they should kick back some money, too.
I'm tired of carrying those pro leagues on my back, while I worry about how to pay for my own kids' schooling.

If it makes you feel any better, the amount of revenue generated from big contract TV sports like Football and Basketball more than fund the scholarships for those players by a ton...more than pay the coaches salary, the travel expense etc...
