Fishing Lake Sonoma tonight

I have a tournament this evening at Lake Sonoma and this lake kicks my a$$ every time I fish it. I presfish it until my legs feel like falling off. I can only cover so much water because I'm in a kick boat. So, whats the secret to unlocking the secrets of fishing here at night? Any good info would be great for myself and several of our club members who I know are watching this post.

I figure you are launching out of yorty? I have found the the fish move close to the bank at night. Before and just after dark throw a sammy and then switch to a dark colored jig on steep banks close to shore. I have found persuaders 1/2 ounce to be my personal favorite........ if you are fishing slopped banks throw a weightless senko also dark color.

Thanks for the tip, but I was only able to get four bite, three fish and two keepers all on a Henrieta crank bait. There was 36 or 39 of us kick boates in Yorty. Big fish was 7 and only a few limits came to the scales and this was a blind draw team event. One of these days I'll figure that place out, I hope. Thanks again for the tip.
