how about supporting the WB sponsors. You just might be surprised they will have better coverage and competitive prices. Working with a "nice" broker is fine, but its the underwriting company that you have to contend with if something goes wrong.

"Nice" response Brian, but it didn't answer the question I asked..If I wanted to know about a forum sponsor I would have asked that question... this is why people have stopped using this forum...

Someone is always hijacking posts...then if anyone posts an answer to my question they will feel odd, like they are not supporting forum sponsors..oh well I'll post on the other forum...maybe you won't hijack twice ...

Your response makes it very unlikely that I would even consider the forum sponsor, after you slammed me for asking about another company...cool move

J.T.

As soon as I heard Gayla had switched companies, I got the change of agents and signed it faster than I could type this response. Gayla has been a pleasure to work with for the last year. While I haven't had any claims, she seems much more responsive to my needs than some of the companies previously mentioned in other postings here.

If you want to discuss this further, feel free to P.M. me.

JT - there was no slam nor hijack. Just throwing paying WB advertisers (that make this site possible) some love. Apparently you're a little sensitive so I'll be nice. If you paid for advertising to be on this site and other people steered you away, then that is not fair to them.

BTW, hijacking happens on the "other" sites as well. Might as well turn off your computer so you don't get your feelings hurt any more.

+1

I think this thread was meant to be hijack bait.

I gave my business back to Gayla because she has such outstanding service. The fact that they let her go pissed me off and they will not get my business back. I think Gayla is an exceptional person and will keep my business with her. I have the same policy and agent that I used too. Its just to hard to find competent and professional people lately that have excellent customer service.

Sorry guys I have no loyalty due to where anyone advertises. Customer service is what I am looking for and Gayla has that wrapped up in my opinion.

JT I'm in the same deal as you, Mines up and I did like dealing with her, she is just a broker and back when i did have a claim for a damage cowling , Jhole ran into me and the dock and didn't have insurance, it took me a while to turn it in and the adjuster was a complete A hole he was basically try to say I was trying to pull a scam, I told him were to go called Gayla, she got me my check and tried to tell me the guy was having a bad day...whatever
I have a older boat, 96, and have it insured for 30k, current replacement value, and I'm not sure if I could get that same deal, I'm paying about 800 a year I believe, man I better get off my cork and take a better look into this policy

Gayla is a sweetheart. She treats everyone like family. You will taken care of by her, period. Too bad her side kick Al isn't there to help. He is missed.
