I just found out that one of my fishing buddies, Richard Atanay, went into full cardiac arrest on Saturday. While swimming at a family pool party, his heart stopped completely. Lucky for Richard, his brother Randy, an LA County Fire Paramedic was there to get a pulse back.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Judes and is doing much better. They are running tests & he may have to have a pacemaker or defibrillator implanted.

Richard had a defibrillator implanted last Thurs & was discharged on Fri. Thanks for the good thoughts & prayers. He is doing very well but is not supposed to work for a month (tuff luck there).
