Crawdad pot/trap?

Post by ken L. »

Lookin for small crawdad trap. Saw on TV a show about catching crawdads using a small round crawdad pot. It looked about 10" in dia. and maybe 18" long. Anyone know where to get something like this.

Thanks

Ken, You can make your own very cheap out of chicken wire. There are a ton of write ups and even videos on yourtube. Just be sure when you put your bait in the trap keep it suspended in the middle of the trap or most cradads will not enter the trap.

If you go to ace hardware and get some wire you can build one for less than ten bucks. I make them with my kids.
