Bass-a-thon recap and thanks

Post by Rick G »

Well #24 in the books and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to a few folks again. Thanks to all the vendors, and seminar speakers for all the years of great info and support. You are the center of this show and what make it a great event. Thanks to all the Tourney Org's who schedule their events on weekends other than the show. Plus it also proves you all can be stuck in the same building together and get along just fine. Thanks to all of our GREAT customers for 31 years of Anglers Marine support. YOU are the reason we are still around and this show is for your enjoyment. And lastly a big thanks to my great employees, Jordan, John D x2, Doug, Art, Willdo, Greg, Adam, Rich, Kyle [freebee baby!], Joe, Mark, Hector, Luis, Kay T, Vincente, and all the superstar prostaffers who helped out lead by the "King", Ray Mayo. Also props to the Point Seekers Bass Club for the great job on the grill supplied by Team North American and Gary Kuhr. And finally to the great folks at Western Outdoor News, Bob Twiliger, Billy Egan and Mike Bohn for all the hard work you do and your great generousity. Also I never want to forget my good friends from ABA, Craig and Jason Sutherland. In closing I just want to add we live in changing times, but remember there are lots of good Mom and POP shops out there that need your support, so when your sittin at your computer, thinking about buyin a bag of something, go in the stores if you can and say hi. Information and knowledge are the keys to fishing success and that is what WE supply. Hope you all have a great holiday season. Rick G.

Rick,

Sorry I had to miss the event, but I am happy to have made it to Southern California after driving over the Siskiyoo Pass in the snow storm Saturday night. I had to call 911 and provide assistance twice on that trip; glad I drive an all wheel drive Yukon.

Hopefully you have some tackle left as I plan to make a trip to your store in the next couple of days, and to say hello.

ciao,
Marc Marcantonio
