Well unfortunately the time has come to sell my boat, I don’t have the time or the resources to run it as much as I’d like, so it might as well go to someone who will appreciate it. Long story short, I bought this boat in January 2009, so I could use it for my research project fishing at several locations around northern California. There are some things that need to be addressed if you want to make it “tournament ready”, but it is a fast and safe driver, solid fishing platform and an all around great boat. It would be a great “easy” project boat, all it needs is someone with a little more time and money than I have to fix the little stuff!!!

Features:
Dual Console
Johnson 200 Venom with 4 blade 25 pitch SS prop (great holeshot and handling)
New Lower Unit as of Summer 2009
Motor starts/runs good, compression good on all cylinders
Oil Reservoir located in bilge area (works great)
HotFoot Throttle
Hydraulic Steering
Console gauges: Speedometer, Tachometer, Water Pressure, Tilt/Trim
Console controls: livewell, bilge pump, horn, tilt/trim
2 Bank Dual Pro 10 Amp Charger
2 Group 27 Batteries (Trolling)
1 Group 24 Battery (Cranking)
MinnKota Maxxum 74 lb. thrust
Twin 7’+ Rod Lockers
Twin live well with Pro-Air System
Auto/Manual Bilge Pumps
Tilt/Trim controls at Bow, Console and on the Motor
Rigged for LowranceNet (at bow and at console), all of the cables and wiring is installed and GPS antenna is mounted on the back.
Temperature Gauge at bow
Livewell controls at bow
Front Air-Ride Pedestal Seat
Rear Chair Seat
Gel Coat in good shape, no major scratches or dull spots, it’s still really sparkly
Custom fit canvas cover

The stuff that needs attention:
The livewells are not currently operable. The starboard well needs the recirculation pump and the livewell intake pumps are non-operable. All of the wiring is present, it was just that I never wanted or needed the livewells, so I never took the time to get them working. The Pro-Air System is fully functional, all you need is new tubing and air stones.
Upholstery is in need of some work, the passenger seat has a substantial tear (it was like that when I got the boat). It’s 13 year old upholstery, so don’t expect it to be flawless.
Carpeting is in good shape except for the standard wear around the pedestal bases.
Passenger wind screen needed (or make the passenger suffer like it do!)
The trailer it was originally equipped with hydraulic drum brakes. Those were absolutely destroyed when I got the boat, so I cut the break lines. I towed it with my 1500 Silverado across HWY 299 from Eureka to Redding, and I never felt like I needed the brakes. If you wanted brakes back on the trailer, in my opinion, the best thing to do would be to install electronic disc brakes (which you could get at BPS for ~$200, and forego the older style brake system).

I’m asking $6000 for it, albeit there are things that need a little work, it’s an all around solid boat. I will gladly hear any serious offers/inquiries, because I would like to see it go to someone who will really appreciate it.

Right now, the boat is in Humboldt County, but my folks live near Sacramento, so that would be another location it can be for you to consider looking at/test drive once arrangements are made.

Best way to reach me is either email: djt26@att.net or my cell phone: (916) 715-0748.
Please email me directly for photos (and simply to show that you are indeed interested).

Thanks,
Dan
