ABA DVL THIS SATURDAY (3-26-11)!!!

Hey All,
I just wanted to remind all of you about the American Bass Diamond Valley Lake Tournament this Saturday. The weather is looking great and the bite is even better! I have had a lot of people tell me that they will be there for this event, and with the nice weather and great fishing, it should be an awesome event!

This is the 3rd event for the Diamond Valley Region so the Cabela’s Angler of the Year Points Race is still wide open! Remember the winners of the AOY title get a Cabela’s gift card, good for any item in the Cabela’s catalog!!

Also make sure you don’t wait too long to get all of your tournaments in for the 2011 year to qualify for the American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic(s). This year the 1st Place Prize at each of the Classics is a Brand New Ranger Z118 Boat Package Powered by a Mercury 150HP ProXS, combined with a Lowrance Electronics unit.
2nd through 25th place at each of these events is Guaranteed CASH!!!

How much is membership and entry?

To answer your question our membership fee is $30 or $35 for a family. Our memberships are good for 365 days, in other words, it is good for one year and you are able to fish any American Bass Tournament.

As for the Diamond Valley event, like in the link a provided above the Basic entry is $185 (includes fees) and the All In amount is $320. I hope this helps. The lake will be collecting their fees separate.

I know that there is rain scheduled up to Friday, Please make sure your boats are clean and dry, There have already been enough people turned away this year to have another tournament, I don’t want that to happen this weekend!

Also don’t forget new for the 2011 season American Bass is paying out 1 in 3 based on the basic entry. There are a lot of checks up for grabs in comparison to years past, so don’t miss out! Already this year I have handed out checks to people that have not received a check in quite some time; let that person be you this Saturday!

Hey guys,

One last thing, the lake is going to be letting us up the hill a little after 6:00am. Please plan to be at the lake by 6:00am. The fishing is great, and from the talk I should have a pretty good turnout. The weather should be past us by launch and we should have a great weather and fishing day!
