Top Stick Joe's at Pyramid this Sunday April 3rd.

Post by Ray L. »

We will be at Lake Pyramid this Sunday. For those of you that don't know we had to cancel the date last weekend. The weather was bad and we did not want to put any anglers in danger. So we have a new date this Sunday. Looks like the weather will be great and fishing should be fantastic as well. Come out and join us for a great day. Just a couple of reminders though. This is a rookie league so don't bother trying to enter if you have won more than 3k last year. We will be keeping an eye on the people that enter. This circuit is not for the bigger name guys.We are a fun circuit and would love to see the kids and wives come out and fish. We are all about the Family and having fun.
Now on to the info. We will have the sign up trailer at the gate at 4:30 a.m. The trailer will be parked on the exit side of the gate. Please line up on the exit side outside the gate since we will be going in on that side as well. The staff at the lake will open the gate for us at 6 a.m. for us to launch early. Livewell inspections will be done while you wait in line to pay your gate fees. After that please go directly to launching your boat. Once everyone is on the water we wil be sending you from the 5 mph buoy line at safe light. I will give the off limits at the morning meeting before we go in the gate. The morning meeting will be at 5:45 a.m. Drive safe up the hill and hope to see you there on Sunday April 3rd.

Ray,
You guys should have perfect weather this weekend.
Beats a 60+mph south wind and 3' rollers on the ramp.
Good luck to everybody.
Attitude plus effort equal success

Almost anything is better than what we had when I cancelled. Besides the Grapevine was closed at like 8 a.m. that day as well. It was starting to get Ice build up when I came down the hill at like 6 a.m.

I'm tryin'. No one has the special kung fu grip Nitro trailer u-bolts....I thought it would be good to replace all the hardware after I took it apart. Turns out that wasnt such a good idea..so I need to use the existing u-bolts, but they are an odd size and thread pitch... Should be back together today...

Ya, as long as Mother nature doesn't throw in 50 mph winds and four foot rollers at the ramp, we'll be good. The forecast is for mid sixties and partly cloudy skies..

It would be cool if we could actually hit a weekend with the Top Stick where there is no rain or wind

The weights were decent, and it took 17+ for the win.
