I have two LX17m's. They have both been in the rain for the last two tourneys. About a half hour into my last tourney, it started beeping all over the place. Then it started only reading the depth with no other detail. Within 10 minutes it began turning itself on and off. Now when I turn it on I get the start up screen(which looks fine), then the screen goes blank. I can hear the transducer clicking, but nothing else.
I tried a hard boot, but didn't even seem to reboot.
Anyone have any ideas? Time to buy a new graph?
Thanks!

Re: LCX17M issues
I had a couple X15 MT's a long time ago. The 17's didn't come out too much later. I'm trying to figure out how many years of service you got out of those units in the kinds of conditions they made it through. Our electronics are so good we get used to them and want them to last forever. Unfortunately they don't and these are so old I don't think Lowrance has any parts for them to be able to repair them.
You could call Lowrance Customer Care and see if they have any specials going and tell them about your problem, you might be surprised but you won't know until you call. It's toll free and their number is 1-800-324-1356, good luck.
