Post by Gary Dobyns »

Dang I just looked at the WB Magazine. I knew it existed but had not taken the time to check it out. WOW!! A lot of work went into this. Great articles and it's with our Western guys. If you have not checked it out, you will be impressed. GREAT JOB Wayne!!

Great job on the initial edition. I love the idea of having these kinds of articles at your fingertips with out waiting for the next edition to come in the mail. Capt Jack and Jeff are great Lowrance guys too. Can't wait to see what they have to say next. What a resource!

I think the 'mag' is great. :D

I just wish I could figure out how to make it bigger than 'full page'. Gotta wear my glasses to read it.......

Hi Civicrr,

If you double click any page with your mouse, you will zoom into that page. Once you have zoomed in, you can use your mouse by holding down the button to scrool around. If you double click the mouse again, you will zoom out.

Hope this helps?

That's what iPads are for, haha. Seriously, with the costs of print, you'll see more and more publications go electronic as we move further into the 21st century. All these trees around here appreciate that notion as well.

Thanks for the laugh. My humor is warped but that hit me as FUNNY!! :D :D I talked with several anglers this morning about print mags. We all like print but guys commented on the "thickness" of BassMaster, Sports Afield, Outdoor Life..... I hate to say it but it does not look good for print mags. Two of the best are Bass Angler Guide and Bass West. Both western mags. Yamamoto's Inside Line and this new Western Bass.com I think will be players. It takes a lot of time but Wayne first issue looks STRONG!

I was a camera driver alst week for Heidi from Yamamoto. She is Yamamoto's Inside Line Mag Editor, I asked about the mag business verse the old print mag. The info I got was awesome. They can and do updates all the time and their numbers are WAY UP. Guys check out that site.

I carry a Kindle book reader all the time, so maybe I need more computer sh** :D :D

Like most of the other replies I took a quick look at the first issue and was impressed.
Today I read the 2nd edition and looked at vedio inserts and now believe print magazines are history. The graphics, editorial content are outstanding.

Being on the road in a foreign country, China, having no access to any print materials, this is the greatest form of entertainment for me. I can keep current with the numerous great articles and get jazzed up to get back home so I can either try some of the stuff I read about. Definitely, this is a grear boon to those that don't have access to printed matter.

Keep up the great work and I check the Western Bass site daily and enjoy reading all of the "fishing" related comments.

The magazine is pretty darn cool and the best part about it is it's FREE! Way to go WB!
