The ceramic insert broke out of the tip of my Lamiglas rip rod. Should I send it to Lamiglas or should I try to get it fixed locally. My only concern about getting it fixed locally is getting the same quality Fuji guide that was on the rod originally. I live in Yuba City. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Re: Rod question
Go by Fish On in Yuba City, I don't remember the guys name but he does great repairs. He's setting up a bench in the new shop. Fish on moved to the former Bobs Fly shack next to Movies Eight on west Onstott.
They are in the process of moving but they told me monday they'll be open tomorrow or Friday.

If for some reason they don't have the right one, I'll be emailing you Steve.

Nor Cal is in Concord
not Martinez. Todd Usijimia is the owner of Custom Rod Art and makes custom rods and repairs rods and reels. Give him a call he can take care of it...
It was cuff'm and stuff'm. Now it's catch'm and release'm
