Thinking of heading up to Amador for some night time fishing, anyone been up there lately?

We just had our club tournament (http://sacramentobasstrackers.com/index.html) up there on the 16th of this month. The fishing was really good, but there are a lot of small fish being caught. The bass were most active 7pm to dark, then the bite slows down until after midnight. I caught all my fish on a shad colored crankbait and a small zoom trick worm in watermelon color.

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it. Were you catching fish shallow, deep ? This time of year usually up there you can get them on cranks real shallow. How is the lake level ? Thanks in advance for the info.

Shallow, off of points and the sides of points with Grass. 1/16 ounce shaky head. The lake is just about full. Good Luck!

The bite should be getting better for quality bass. We just need some steady weather. Night fishing gets better at night when the weather is very hot during the day!
