Took me awhile to take my own advice. I caught a 14+ pound five fish limit on dropshot by 10:30...Moved around a bit for zip and came home at 1:00. Don't know how the AC tourney went but they let me in before 6 so I launched at 6:02 and away I went by myself...I heard something like ten boats in the tournament....might as well give your money to Larry Elshere it would be easier...I see him out there like 3-5 days a week...dedicated fisherman both him and his son.

IU was there Friday. Only 4 - 6 boats on the lake all day. got 5 fish all on dropshot with 6" robos in hte morning. My NEW trolling motor took a dump and wasn't working properly by noon so I swimbaited the marina for a bunch of followers but no takers.

Yeah Kelly the dropshot seems to work when all else fails every time..

My Next door neighbors son stuck a 10 on Saturday on a swimbait from a rental boat....3rd fish over ten from the rental fleet for him this year.....I should never have shown that bait to him but he sticks a pig every other trip on it and I have yet to stick a fish on it....Course When I stick it in Yoz's and anyone else's hand but mine....Wham!

I threw it last Sat. in the Rain for 2/3's of my trip to no avail....Dang it I want a fish on that bait too!

I keep throwing it, but all it's done is looked great in the water so far. I will be fishing mid week for a while, since I got laid off. At least as long as I can afford to go. But am hoping to catch a plant on one of the days I go, and throw that big baby right into the plant. That should spark some interest.
