Unwritten rules of Bass Fishing

Post by DL »

In all sports, there are unwritten rules that you just don't break. In baseball we have not throwing at a batters head or standing at Home plate admiring a home run. In Hockey its not throwing another punch when the linesmen step in or one guys falls to the ice. In hoops its not undercutting a guy when he has a step on you while he's going for a dunk. And there are many others in other sports.

With all this talk about "written" rules, what is the one "unwritten" rule that you will not break in bass fishing?

There is NO CRYING in fishing........just kidding you can cry all you want.........you big baby!

The one mortal sin punishable by death is cheating
Get caught cheating and your fishing career is over no matter what level........club or Elite you're done as it should be.

JB,
I've asked every woman I know your question, "If a man speaks in the middle of the forest and there is no woman around to hear him is he still wrong?", and the answer is always "yes, stupid". :D

Daren,
I don't know any unwritten rules concerning actual fishing (that's probably why I can't catch fish), but I do know that if you respect everyone on the water, and treat them as you would like to be treated, you will avoid a lot of problems.
