I think a lot of guys are feeling the economy same way. But out here in California I believe we have a couple of our own demons that are contributing to the of low turn outs. We have to get rid of all the negative drama, it's not helping us by no means. Plus there are too many team circuits offering the same thing with high entry fees, zip code anglers who usually take all the money, and the semi-pros that are not moving up.
I agree the economy is a major factor but Brian Linehan nailed it on the other forum and Tony made a great point about the tournament season starting so early, we made that mistake this year with the teams. I know many anglers that flat refuse to fish during hunting season and won't even think of picking up a rod till after the holidays. It can't be all about the economy, look at Robert Mansor in the Mother Lode or Rodger Stegall at the Delta, their numbers speak for themselves, kudos to both of them.

Thanx.... I am actually starting this Saturday so we will see what happens.... The only reason I started is cause guys asked for Nov and Dec tournaments. I try to give them what they want.... the true test will be the Dec tournament.... one week before christmas.....
