This is a Delta learning question for myself....
While we had the tremendous heat wave last week the fishing really was good for myself. Catching lots of quality topwater and t-rig fish. We then experienced 2 days of cooler weather and strong winds. I went out on these 2 days and noticed that the bite got progressively tougher each day. The topwater bite died but I was able to manage a decent bite on plastics on riprap walls. The quality definitely was not there though during the 2 cooler days. Went from catching 3-5lb bass to barely keepers. My question is what typically do you look for when faced with these conditions to try and manage and produce a quality bite?
What to do with the change of weather when fishing the delt?

wow much different for me
In the heat I was catching alot of fish mostly squeekers around 50 a day w/ one good one mixed in. Yesterday I was happy to see a change and some cooler weather except for the WIND and ended up catching fewer fish but all quality fish on kreatures/drop shot senkos outside the weedline and spinnerbait in the flooded areas on high tide.
