Not much happening yet, they seem to be late coming up. Not enough hot days to bring up the water temp. Jack

How late did you stay and has the summer pleasure boat crowd started to thin?

On Sun. we stayed untill dark ,the boats were thick untill about 6:30. Went again this evening somewhat better, a few boils just out side the closed area. Jack

With the passing of the September 3-5 holiday weekend the crowds should really thin out.

I like to go after them in the evening as well; that last hour of sunlight is usually pretty fast and furious in the fall. I've never encountered much activity in the dam area--most of the action seems to come from the narrows for me.
