Won Bass 2012 Pro/Am Schedule and US Open Dates

Hey gang,

Just wanted to get a jump on the 2012 Won Bass Pro/Am schedule for next season. We are looking forward to getting the new year started, but we still have two events left for the 2011 season. Won bass will be hosting our final Northern Pro/Am event this September 17th and 18th at Clear Lake. Make sure to put this tourney on your schedule. This will be a great tourney and will finalize our qualifiers from the North to our Western Classic in December. Our last Southern event will be this coming October 15th and 16th at Lake Mead. After the final event will will finalize the qualifiers for the Western Classic and get ready to head to Nacimiento and San Antonio.

I also wanted to take this this opportunity to welcome back Bill Cook and his great staff to our Won Bass team. After returning from our hugely successful US Open performance, we have agreed that putting our team together is the best solution for the anglers and our circuit. Joining Bill Cook at the Won Bass Pro/Am's will be Bret Smith and Terry Greenwaldt. "It just makes sense to come back to Won Bass. We have called Won Bass home for many years, and it's nice to be home again." said Bill Cook and his staff.

WOW!!!!!!!

WON BASS was amazing this year with Billy Egan and staff running things very professional and organized and now to add the likes of Bill Cook, Bret Smith and Terry Greenwaldt is incredible.

WON BASS is defiantly on the right track to be the best out West.

Now it’s up to us anglers to get these dates on the calendar and get participation up.

This schedule should make for a great year and a great Diawa Cup points chase.

Holy cow!

Havasu in Feb is going to be incredible! Totally different fishery than in the spring. Great choice!
Clearlake in June is the best thing you could have done. Fish still on beds, top water bite going. Thats going to be a blast!Finally the Clearlake Western Classic is a great idea! We all know everyone like coming to Clearlake.

I cant wait for you guys to get here next month for the final Pro am of the northern series. If your looking to make a schedule for next year, this is the best, by far! Especially when terry G , Brett Smith, and Bill are back in mix. Won Bass is doing everything in their power to have the smoothest running tournies in the business. This year they are right on track to do that. Next year will be awesome.

Shasta Update!

We have been successful in securing our first boat storage facility for our Shasta Pro/Am in January 2012. Any angler that is fishing our event, and needs or wishes to store their boat until returning back for the FLW event, please contact Ashley Hartman at 949-366-0030 x 38. Limited space is available, so contact us as soon as possible to reserve your space.

Our South event at Havasu in February also has a storage opportunity.

Bret, Terry and I are really excited to be involved with the WON Bass Pro-Ams for 2011 and 2012. We have spent the last couple of years really fine tuning the logistics of running a large tournament. We feel we have that part down pretty well. Our goal for the rest of this year and next year is to make the tournaments more of an event. Working with Billy and the folks at WON, we will develop programs and features that will make the WON Bass tournaments the finest on the West Coast. Remember, only at WON Bass can you fish a true Western TOC for a chance to win a boat.
