As good as the topwater bite has been here the past 9 days, ya just knew it wasn't gonna last fer ever, Cold snap hit us big time on Monday, temps here dipped to 71 Monday morning and just shut it off. So we backed out off and found em willing ta eat jigs. Found a nice school of fish on the back side of an island and worked this 200 yrd stretch 4 times over the next 5 hours. Persistance paid off and them bigger fish started moving in around 1:00pm!
Daniel, in town fom Austria, got his first ever jig fish. The smaller fish were chompin the Summer Craw Wadda with a Sprayed Grass Beaver.
The bigger fish though, wanted the Brown Wadda with that 164 Yamamoto Single tail grub!
