but, when all is said and done, what's the difference? They both, along with all the people nominated, and tons who weren't, are great fishermen. Why was it necessary to make it a pissing contest? One winner, the rest losers? Not!

28 classic appearences alone says a lot for a man.He had to beat a lot of guys to make it to that many classics.4 classic wins beat that Roland.Still holds many Bass records.Ok only 1 angler of the year but how many wins and top 10 finishes.Besides they do not even count F.L.W. where he has won and I think also was angler of the year 1 time.Also 2 U.S. Opens to Roland Martin with none of those but Roland can say he forgot to buy a license 1 time at the Open.I was there and remember that mishap.Please take a closer look at the allaround with the other tours and U.S.Open and you will see who is the best.
Now in 15 more years it will probably be K.V.D. and Aaron the top 2 but until then.....
