Wondering what line u guys r using while tossing shell cracker g2's? 17 pound mono enough to use even if a big fish takes it?

i use 30-50lb braidon all my topwater including the shellcracker.

I use 50lb braid on all my topwater especially in the Delta. Never know when a big striper will grab it.

20 mono in post spawn Trilene xt I like the strech with mono when bass arent fully crushing the bait in post spawn.

Ditto on the braid I am a loyal Power Pro user 50 lb on just about everything except frogs and punchin I go up to 65lb
I use the trusted and proven polymer knot on EVERYTHING except punchin I use the Tosh Snell knot
