Day one leader Taylor Capilla of San Jose's Bass-n-Tubes (B-n-T) posted an impressive limit of 4 totaling 19.21 pounds. He was followed closely by SCBBBC angler Binh Phi with 18.68 pounds. The day one top five was rounded out by Jon Graves (SCBBBC), Chris Lapoint (SCBBBC) and Matt Nyiri (SCBBBC) with 17.07, 17.06 & 17.05 pounds respectively. Jordan Brendal (SCBBBC) had the day one big fish of 6.48 pounds.

Taylor Cappilla - Day 1 Leader
Just like last year, Caro put together another day two big bag, posting 17.11 pounds and giving him 31.95 pounds for the tournament. But was it enough? Taylor Capilla had 4 fish, but not the same quality as the day before. His day two bag of 12.37 pounds would give him a total of 31.58 pounds, short of the win by just ounces. Third place went to Jered Brendal (SCBBBC), posting a two day total of 30.63 pounds. With an impressive 16.90 pound day two bag including a 6.78 pound big fish, Dave Montero of (B-n-T) moved up the leader board to finish 4th with a total of 30.55 pounds. Rounding out the top five was Jon Graves (SCBBBC) with a total of 30.27 pounds.
