wow, 70mph in the fog
anyone else read the norcal report from someone whom i wont name? last thing we need is another accident on the water guys, is common sense to much to ask for? keep in mind that we share the water with alot of other boaters and flying arround the delta @ those speeds just for an adrenaline rush is not called for what so ever!!! again please practice safe boating cause id hate to see you take out someones dad, mom, son, daughter, or grandparents!!!

Re: wow, 70mph in the fog
I read that one and all the comments it generated. Looked like a "troll" to me...
You're going to last about 30 seconds on the Delta at 70mph in heavy fog. Even with GPS.

"You can't fix stupid"....Ron White
Whoever drives like that may not be stupid, but driving that fast in the fog definately is stupid.

And I'll bet the knucklehead that was driving is reading this and thinking what a bunch of sissies. Until he kills some innocent person.

I just read that report too and it was indeed a troll. Judging by the number of responses to his "report" and to this thread, he set quite a few hooks. Is it that easy get people going with a fake post???GregD wrote:I read that one and all the comments it generated. Looked like a "troll" to me...

Actually if u read a lil further back in the report page its the same Guy bragging about when he picked up that boat and how fast it goes and slower people get out of his way.
Re: wow, 70mph in the fog
I remember that post. To me, it totally looks like it was written just to push peoples' buttons and leads up to the current one that's getting attention...

How about the looney tune that was driving his 24 ft plus Cris Craft full bore in the Fog and creating a Wake that would push a 20 FT Bass Boat into the Rocks last weekend? He damn near capsized this Couple in an Aluminum Boat down near Giusti's. Then had nerve to get pissed off because we all were yelling at him to slow down. His response was "I paid over $60K for this and I am not going to mess my Boat up for you or anyone else"!! What?? Superstar of the Delta I guess! That couple is out there damn near everyday and all they do is fish for Blue Gill/Sunfish and Catfish and were pretty shook up after he flew by. This time of the year is bad down there in the Delta; the Fog doesn't lift sometime for hours, kind of scary at times, have to stay alert.
Life is short enjoy each and everyday!

Next time get his CF #s, and have them report him to the Coast Guard.
I was told by the Coast Guard that every boater is responsible for his wake, and to operate in a safe manner, just like when driving a car.

Wow, unbelievable. I'll have to keep my eye out for this jerk, and to wish bad thoughts on his precious Chris-Craft. He probably berths at Walnut Grove Marina...luvmystratos wrote:How about the looney tune that was driving his 24 ft plus Cris Craft full bore in the Fog and creating a Wake that would push a 20 FT Bass Boat into the Rocks last weekend? Going any speed above your ability to stop and avoid striking any obstacle in front of you during inclement weather is not only operating without any common sense, it is illegal, and plain STUPID!
