Surprised to read this... I always talk about moving to Alabama because it will be more like Mayberry than Stockton.

i hate to hear this kind of stuff but the reality is that there is no mayberry left on earth. all places like this are surrounded by bad areas and thats where the bad people pray. i am from georgia and growing up i dont think our front door was ever locked. i am 34 now and believe me my parents are down in ga still and the door gets locked nightly. the area of alabama in the article is a pretty nice area to boot but rest assured it is still better than stockton. the trouble comes and goes but it seems like it has not left over the last few years thanks to the economy.

It happened in Florida. Belle Glade is at the south end of Okeechobee. The store name is "The Alabama Georgia Store". Either way, horrible stuff.
