Re: ABA Folsom Results
So who won? And how did they win?
Re: ABA Folsom Results
Fishmore,
Ron Diacon and I were fortunate to win against a very tough field. We had a little over 21 lbs. of spotted bass. We caught our fish on the A-rig equiped with Trashfish (LC Hitch) on buckeye lures swimbait heads and a modified Huddleston 16.
Hi's tacklebox has all the stuff in stock if you are looking
Roger runs an awesome circuit with a great bunch of guys. Fishing will only get better from here on out, so come out to the next one and have some fun.

Thanks for the update. Also, thanks for giving up some great tips on what worked for you guys. I was fishing Folsom the same day as the tournament. I wasn't a participant, but if I was I would have come in last!
Congrats and thanks Mike!

So there you have it. The A rig wins at Folsom. Put it in the hands of a true pro and watch out. Nice job Mike! Not only a win but looks like along with the Huds, kicked some a$$. Almost a 9# spread. Where does it end. I am with you. I just started tournament fishing a few years back and have enjoyed all the different kinds of baits that you can catch fish on. I have already talked to my partner for this year and we are saying how we will have to get in tune with the A rig. Sounds like that is the way to win. I can tell you though, if every tournament I will have to throw the A rig to get a check, chuck and wind, and tournaments start to become dominated by this, tournament fishing will pretty much suck. I am not sure why tournament fishermen and tournament directors, recreational anglers excluded, can not see the light of day on this one. How fun is it going to be to go to every tournament and throw this thing, and know if you don't you are going to be a donator. Ban it!
