Clear Lake Breaking News!!

Post by Caudawg »

I just got word that Konocti Vista Casino has purchased Ferndale Resort and will be changing the name to Clear Lake Vista Resort. This resort will continue to cater to bass anglers as it has in the past and will have many improvements in the coming months.

The resort intends to continue to have a fuel dock once upgrades are completed. If you need Quagga inspections, for the time being, you will need to have the inspections done at the KV Casino or other participating tackle shop locations.

Reservations for Clear Lake Vista Resort can be made by calling the reservation line at KVC until further notice. The number is 1-877-577-7829

Note to tournament Directors: Going forward, Tournament Directors will need to contact Barbara Hoagland to make tournament arrangements for both locations.

I'll miss ferndale. I have a lot of good memories from that place. Sure it'll be the same, but who knows how it will be managed by Konocti... :|

They are looking for someone to lease and run the restaurant. The launch is open now. They want to be fully open in march

Is Local 38 Still running the habor or a private company, It sounds like you are saying that it is going to open for buisness soon, That will be great I just hope that they remodle the rooms price may go up a bit but would be a good up grade.

Damn, that restaurant with full bar at Ferndale sure beat most clear lake places after a hard day on the water.

Stayed at Ferndale with the wife and kids a few years back. Good fishing within close proximity. Did they put in a wave-break? My boat got thrashed when the wind kicked up. But overall I like that place. Great potential.

Hi Dan,
Can you explain what is being discussed here about the harbor, local 38 etc?
Our club has frequented the Ferndale over the years, in fact I think we were the last group to stay there prior to the closing.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about regarding the harbor and I am curious.
