Looks like there is a big player that is coming up to the plate and getting into the sponsorship business out here in a big way. Not sure if you all have seem the announcement from American Bass about the event that they are running for Lucas Oil on June 25-27th at Mead but all I can say is wow.
100 boat limit
50K cash first place with 83K for 2nd thru10th place. Over 3K to 20th place
6K for the Co Angler
New Ranger Z118 with Merc 150Pro XS for big fish
Pro/Am format with shared weight.
Sunset Station is host hotel.
June is really good fishing at Mead and this should be a great event. It is filling fast, I know for a fact.

Re: Lucas Oil Summer Classic at Lake Mead
Thanks Rick,
The Annoucment has been made to all American Bass members that we have emails for, and since ABA is at the Fred Hall show, we are making the announcement there. The official start of presign will be next week. We are accepting early registration from ABA members, and we already have spots on both Pro and Co that have sent in their deposits. The info for this event will be up the beginning of the week.
We are very excited to have great sponsors like Lucas Oil, and Ranger Boats to help make these events possible!
Don't forget we have 2 other great opens; the first one is The Lucas Oil Team Open at Lake Pleasant April 14 and 15.
And the second event is the Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits Team Open at Lake Powell April 20 and 21.
We are looking forward to these being a great events!

I'm in. Anglers need to be supporting Lucas oil. This could be the beginning of something big for the west coast.
And don't forget their team tournament on Lake Pleasant Apr 14-15. $385 all in, a Z118 150 Pro Xs package to first place, PLUS the normal cash payback of an ABA team tournament.
