Can someone give me the phone number and/or website to sign onto the do not call list for cell phones? Have heard the phone companys are selling our number/names to advertisers and we will start getting calls on our cell phones and we pay the charge for the call.. This is not right, but will happen and I want to get on the do not call list. Thank you and sorry for off topic. Bill K

Thats no good! I wonder if a call to your provider would do any good? worth a shot, and maybe they would tell you where to call, eventhough they are selling the numbers.lol

For cell phones there is no such "Do Not Call" list.

Actually it is illegal for telemarketers to call a cell phone. Over the years I have had a couple calls from companies I do business with where I have used my cell phone as a contact number. Once I tell them they called my cell phone there can not wait to get off the line.

Now SMS messages may be a different story, but you will not be charged for those.

I just heard it last night on, I believe, the Fox channel that I was watching. They said that phone companys, including cell phones, were selling names/numbers to advertiser and we would very shortly start recieving ads/tele marketers over our cell phones and we had to pay the cost of the call.. So I would do some more checking, I know I will be following up on this. Bill K
