SCTO - Irvine Lake Southern Cal Trout Opener

Hey gang,

I know it's not a bass event, but I felt it was important to get the word out to everyone regardless. Western Outdoor News and myself will be putting on the 5th annual Irvine Lake Trout Opener. There are tons of prizes and three different categories to enter. The categories are Adult Male, Adult Female, and Juniors 12 and under. The event is a Big Fish Derby, and will be giving trophies away to the top 5 in each category, along with a grip of loot from our sponsors. This is a great way to get the entire family out for the day and have a chance at winning some great sponsor prizes and giveaways. Everyone who enters is eligible to win the Grand Raffle prize, which is a Gregor Boat and trailer with a Mercury motor worth $10,000. It is a big fish derby with tagged fish prizes and more. Do they have a category for largest bass caught on a flylined trout? Might get a few entrys? [dont try that]. jk. Irvine Lake is redhot for bass right now also. Hope you get a good crowd Billy. Rick
