Re: don pedro
i havent been to do pedro in a while bud, but if you were hoping to catch them on crankbaits i can give you a couple options as far as the ones i have success with, here on my local lakes.
I use strike king and lucky craft reaction baits for the most part the lucky crafts are a little bit heavy on the pocket book but the quality is undeniable. This is what i would use/buy for this trip as far as reaction baits goes.
Strike King KVD 1.5/2.5
Sexy Shad and Chili Craw colors
Strike King series 5
Gizzard shad and Sexy Shad colors
Strike King 5 and 6 XD
Gizzard Shad and Sexy Shad Colors
I like to shave down the strike king deeper divers and paint them crawdad colors, as well
This time of the year the bass in the lake should be in prespawn mode so focus on points, creek mouths, and drop offs to flats. My old faithful during the spring time is a lucky craft pointer 100 minnow in ghost minnow works all over california and can put some big fish in the boat for ya change the hooks out though to bigger ones. Swimbaits can get you some big fish as well well let us know how your trip goes tight lines

Norman Crankbaits are awesome and cheap
Re: don pedro
By far the best crankbait this time of year on Don Pedro is Rapala DTSS03 and DTSS07 in pearl grey color. Trust me on this one!!
