just a heads up, not sure i should ne putting this on the boards ? but don iovino's wife passed last night. no details, just got a message letting me know... don has a heavy heart right now. god speed to don and to your family... prayers sent !!

Darlene was a really nice person, and a fighter.
She always made me feel comfortable whenever I stopped by.
She gave cancer a run for it's money.
It may have won, but it knew it was in a fight the whole way.

I had some great times with Darlene and Don. We did many Fish Tacos dinners. Darlene was always with Don and a huge part of their business and Don's ROCK. Don, I really feel for you my friend!!

All the posts about having dinner with Don and Darlene reminded me of a dinner we all went out to in Las Vegas at Don's favorite Italian place. We were all young and pretty broke and when the check came Darlene said "Get the check Donny"......he pretended he didn't hear her and she said it again then he started saying "but, but, but" and Darlene said one more time "Get the check Donny".......Don bought dinner that night but he whined about it for years!!!!

Thanks for dinner again Donny and thanks Darlene for making him break out the wallet it is an image of Don we all won't forget..............
