For anyone practicing tomorrow for the Top Stick event on Sunday, the 5 north is closed at lake Hughes road due to a brush fire. The fire seems to be growing and there is no word on when I 5 will be reopened. If this extends until tomorrow night we will be watching it closely and updating the website, posting here, and updated our twitter account. I am not sure about the old road but it is probably affected as well...

Right 2 lanes are open and freeway was flowing nicely as of 830 when I passed over the bridge from the 126.

one lane closed north of lake hughes rd. no problem with traffic!!!
